About us
Enfield, Delivers. at a glance
Enfield, Delivers. is Enfield Council’s inward investment brand. We bring the borough’s development opportunities, economic plans and delivery progress into one clear picture, so investors and partners can see where they can contribute.
Enfield offers development land, an established industrial economy and strong connections across London and the UK Innovation Corridor. We connect partners with opportunities to deliver homes, employment space and infrastructure, and show how each fits Enfield’s long-term plan.
Why Enfield?
Location and connectivity
Enfield connects central London with Hertfordshire, Cambridge and the wider UK Innovation Corridor. Access to the A10 and M25, rail links and proximity to Stansted Airport support businesses serving London and markets beyond it.
Land and development opportunities
Our portfolio spans major regeneration sites, estate renewal, mixed-use opportunities and industrial land. Investors can explore schemes already in delivery alongside longer-term sites progressing through the planning process.
Population and workforce
More than 333,000 people live in Enfield. Our Economic Growth Plan focuses on connecting residents, particularly young people, with the skills and opportunities created as businesses grow.
Industrial and employment economy
Enfield has London’s fourth-largest amount of industrial land and more than 36,000 businesses. Its manufacturing, logistics and food production base gives investors an established economy to build on.
Infrastructure investment
Investment in transport and enabling infrastructure is helping unlock growth. At Meridian Water, £195 million secured through the Housing Infrastructure Fund supports essential works for the long-term programme.
Housing growth
New homes are a central part of Enfield’s growth programme. Meridian Water is planned to support 10,000 homes over time, while the consented Joyce and Snell’s redevelopment will deliver more than 2,000, with over half affordable.
Green infrastructure
Enfield has London’s fourth-largest amount of green space. Parks, waterways and the Enfield Chase Landscape Restoration Project give new development a strong setting and support long-term environmental improvement.

Connected Enfield
Enfield sits between central London and the growth centres of Hertfordshire and Cambridge, within the UK Innovation Corridor. The A10 and M25 connect businesses to London and the wider road network, while rail services and proximity to Stansted Airport extend that reach. For investors, this means access to London’s market from a borough with substantial employment land and room for planned growth.
